So far I love the sound. But my old MacBook seems to choke on it a little bit! (15", Mid 2009, 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo.) If i freeze a few tracks to get the CPU use down the pops go away. Also, they are not there after rendering the song. I think I will use it mostly on sparser compositions or on individual tracks, but, used sparingly, i think it would provide a unique sounding glue if used as a send fx for several sparse tracks.
