About this Blog
Ujjaya & Leila Taïga will be in sleep concert all night from Saturday August 5th to Sunday August 6th, at Onirika, a magical place in the french countryside (1h from Paris, no riot garanteed, only bird songs and cow bells). Listeners will attend this concert lying down, between waking and sleeping. Leila Taïga will introduce the night with dhrupad, an Indian meditative song. She will thus open the door for a dive into the depths of consciousness. Ujjaya will play synthesizers, gongs and singing bowls and plenty of unknown sacred ethnic instruments (as the mvett, or the lawle but passed through electronic effects) The dead of night will be the perfect time for deep listening music, music made of subtle pads of fairly static synthesizers, crossed by micro changes conducive to spiritual awakening. The morning will be the reign of percussion, played at medium tempo to bring the listeners back into their bodies. A vegan breakfast will close the concert. Initiated in the 80s by the Californian musician Ro
