    some very nice work.

Trying to figure out why yours look beautifully organic and controlled, and my attempts tend to look like someone randomly spun the controls.

Maybe its me randomly spinning the controls.

I just discovered J-Wildfire about a month or so ago. I really enjoy using it, but I'm still pretty much at the random knob-spinning phase

Edit: Just was viewing your images on Flickr…really nice! I enjoyed the Arabian Nights video.

I adore J-Wildfire ! Playing with it since earliest versions. It's an incredible creative tool, but it requires some time to comprehend. I never thinking at formula level actually - only use my imagination, intuition and visual feedback :D

Yes, using J-Wildfire. Subdream introduced it here a couple of months ago and he is really good at it like you are.

Like any powerful creative tool, it does take time to learn. I hope to get the quality of results the two of you have shown, one day.

You make my fractals look like the scribblings of a small child. Still learning the ins and outs of Apophysis 7X, though, and some changes have made a lot of tutorials I found out of date =/ Ah well, I'll get there.

But I digress, that's quite lovely.
                Meh.

You will, just don't give up !
Sometimes you can spend hours playing with one fractal...
                  It's really addictive

Apo is classic, but I never felt myself so comfortable with it as I feel with J-Wildfire, do not know why...
You could try it and see if J-Wildfire is for you.
There is a great community on Facebook, shearing J-Wildfire fractals, tips, tutorials - very friendly people, including Andreas (J-Wildfire developer):

Thank you for all this great information Julian.

I use J-Wildfire for all the Ascendant artwork as aoVI said, when Subdream introduced us to it. Didn't know there was a version 2 coming out...downloading it now to check it out!

Your gallery is simply gorgeous. Thanks again for sharing.

Nice! Have you ever used Chaotica or Mandelbulb 3D?
