  • Album Covers

My favorite thing in the world is designing album covers. I wouldn't claim to be the greatest at it, but I do enjoy doing it.

Most of us here are more than capable of designing our own covers, but should anyone want/need a cover designed, I would be really happy to do it.

My fees run from a post asking me to do it to the full-service expensive package of nothing at all.

I just enjoy doing it. I take critique well, and no hard feelings if I can't come up with something that you'd like.

    Feel free to PM me.

    Examples of my work.

    I don't know...that seems pretty expensive. :P

Nice work! I may come to you when I need my next cover created. :D

What software do you use? And what did you use to make the planets on Names Halt Planet Exit?

I have CS6 design premium, although many of those were made with earlier versions of PS, Illustrator, or Quark.

The planets were made with a planet generator called Lunarcell from Flaming Pear. I don't know if it is still around, I got it back in the 90's.

        Nice.

I have the Creative Cloud, but I'm not very proficient at it.

I just finished up a cover for an artist over on KVR. I am not great with genres, but I think it would fall under a wide description of techno love songs. I am probably mistaken.

                  I like these.

I hadn't touched graphic design of any kind in years until I made a bandcamp account, and realized I'd have to make some album covers.

I just broke out the GiMP and went for a simple collage style, or just photographs, I don't think they are amazing but I enjoyed making them, probably something i'm going to invest more effort in in the future.

I really enjoy graphics as well -also mainly through needing album covers. Here's an image from an old, no longer available bandcamp album It's a photo I took near where I live and then processed in photoshop

oooh, I really like that picture on the far right, reminds me of a scene out of the Amityville Horror movie. Really dark n moody. My kind of stuff. I have just stumbled across this thread now. Never knew it existed. That's the good thing I love about AO. There is always something new to read even if its months old, like walking into an aladdin's cave really.

                      Thanks for sharing :tu:

A very interesting image Woggle. Reminds me of a graphical snippit out of a pc game.

                        Nice editing m8.

Am just listening to Everything now and River Wolf is a cracking piece of music. Its very scatty and appears like its been improvised on the spot. I enjoyed all the different ingredients you have produced in the track to. Interesting stuff and very inspirational. The cover art to certainly goes great with the music and the titles. Like they both fit in perfect harmony with each other. Your music is clearly very different to what I usually listen to. Roaring has just this minute rolled in now. Yes this is definitely tribal sounding but unpredictably exciting to. I always find its not healthy to listen to one particular style of music all the time and Everything certainly makes me want to hear more.

                          Brilliant stuff.

Thanks man, I appreciate that..it's not the most accessible stuff but it's nice to know when someone digs it.
