Dune Prophecy Theme lead sound

So I've always loved that track, ever since I first saw the movie far too many years ago. I looked the soundtrack up and found that it's written by Brian Eno and it and a few other pieces of incidental music are all that is left of what might have been a full score for the movie.

Anyway I love it, I can hear some lovely warm pads at the base of it but does anyone have idea what the lead sound is or how it might have been made?

I remember sitting in the theater and hearing it for the first time...slowly realizing it had to be Eno.

I can't say I know for certain, but my guess given the time this was created would be DX7+Eventide H3000=goodness.
