Sometimes he is clicking in a slightly wild manner, and sometimes he is very quick, so I had to rewind a few seconds to see, what he is actually doing. But I found it quite interesting, because it shows, how to create your own waveform, add an LFO to an envelope (but only in the release stage!) - things, which are described in the manual, yes, but Absynth is so complicated, that I have no overview, what it all can do. Obvoiously more than I do normally with with it. Time to read the manual again!!

I’ve had Absynth for a number of years and used it extensively, but never actually tried to program a voice in it. My main focus has been obtaining sound libraries for it. Looks like it might be an interesting video, though.

I watched the video, and now I’m stoked to try to create a patch in it! However I’m learning to work with a new synth plugin called ‘Vital’, so somewhere in there, I’ll get some ‘programming’ time in!

I have had Absynth for quite a long time, and I love using it, but only for specific tasks, usually "soundscape" or "sound effects" stuff, which Absynth appears to be great at

as for creating a preset from scratch, I have never bothered with Absynth and I have always started with a pre-made preset and tweaked it to suit my needs

I'm using Absynth since 2000 and it is always one my 2 absolute favorites (who said software is quickly outdated ? haha)
I know it inside out. I always create the sounds from scratch, all types of sounds.

Not outdated - but quite small on a 4k monitor. And not scalable...

Yes, that's right, I'm still in FHD and I was thinking about my own synths : I haven't kept any as long as Absynth, hardware or software.
