  • Earth amplified...

    Hello my dear creatures,

I'm Chris Corrado. I make ambient music (under the name 'the atlas amp') with guitar and other signal processors. I'm totally excited to get in touch with you all! I live in southern Germany. And a funny fact is that I have to travel around the world (well, even if it's just online...) to find people that I can talk to about the stuff I'm interested in. But hey, I think I found a place now to hang around. I am excited which doors will open up and who I'm gonna meet. So, a big hello to y'all. If you want, meet me here: www.theatlasamp.com. And on all other platforms like YT, soundcloud, tumblr, twitter or FB.

    I Am Excited.
    Chris

        Awesome.

Listening to your music on your bandcamp page right now. Excellent! You are amongst your people here as many of us also play guitar as well as do ambient. Your work is fantastic!

Just keep coming back and discovering more here...you'll find ambient online has tons to offer.

        Welcome aboard!

        Cheers,

Welcome! Listening to "Listen/Silent" now - great stuff! I always knew Southern Germany was a hotbed for ambient, I just didn't know where to look

Welcome aboard Chris - enjoyed your looping performance. I'm just getting to grips with the software method, using Mobius looper and Line6 PodFarm...I do miss my old (real) stompboxes though :sigh2:

Listening to 'Listen/Silent' at the moment, really lovely stuff. I think you have a great sense of.. restraint. Heard plenty of looped stuff where people pile on too many layers but this track is wonderful in it's sparseness.

                  Welcome!

That's so true, it's so tempting to just whack the feedback control to the max but then that's like adding colours to a 12inch canvas with a 24inch paint roller...
