Hello all!

My name is Jacob, artist name JMPW, and I am very excited to be here. I have been working to develop my sound over the last two years, and after countless hours of sampling projects, have finally begun my original works. I record, produce, and publish everything by myself. My first EP release is titled "Memetic Transmission," and can be found here:

I'm here to learn a bit and possibly collaborate with other artists. I have a preference for time-stretching and modifying sounds beyond the point of recognition. I have been doing this as a hobby since my early teenage years.

I made it using custom settings in Milkdrop 2, two layers deep, and edited together with good old Windows Movie Maker.

If you can't tell I'm a bit of a freetard (excepting my usage of Windows, because I just can't get the hang of Linux.)

Thank you for the compliment, I just went through the original files and realized how poorly the levels are regulated. I see some re-mastering coming in the near future! I will be checking out your soundcloud tonight!

I really enjoyed this video and the music that accompanied it. Nice work! Very inspiring. I immediately looked up "Milkdrop 2" because I was so curious.
