You don't need a fan account to purchase. .... Do you? You need one to follow musicians though.

No, you don't need one to purchase; but I did have to purchase something in order to make a fan account that attached to my artist account. If that makes sense :confused:

I think you can setup fan account for free prior to a purchase off of their homepage.
