Field Recording Equipment

Does anyone on this forum do their own field recording?

I recently decided to try my hand at field recording and decided after some reading to buy the Zoom H5 (based on budget, etc.)

What other equipment would anyone recommend by way of additional microphones, etc.? Specifically I want to record nature sounds. Environments, etc.

I have done a lot of field recordings with a Zoom H4. No additional microphone. With a good equalizer to get rid of unwanted "dirt" (there will always be some) it works fine, and it's very handy.
