Korg NTS-1 (and Minilogue XD and Prologue)

The above mentioned synths allow to load user oscillators. Since a couple of week, I have a NTS-1 (DIY, but no soldering, absloutely easy to assemble). I used the soundmangling drone oscillator for my track on the AO 10 compilation. Background noises are the looped micrphonc soundbox, and the whole meal was topped with Valhalla Room.

Yes, the drone oscillator is nice for endless noodling

Some people also use the NTS-1 as an FX machine (it has audio in), the FX are obvoiusly very good. Did not try that yet, but the internal "submarine" reverb is impressive. And user FX are also loadable, like oscillators. That makes these machines very versatile.
