I have an Alesis IODock, so I can use regular midi or usb / midi.
How many keys do you need? Do you need all the bells and whistles or just a straight keyboard!? These considerations could affect the price. I use a Roland A300 Pro 30 key with my iMac and it's great! Would love more keys though! However...if you're running a mobile setup in the studio bigger isn't always better.
I don't need that many keys but would like some pads and other bell and whistles. I've been looking at this one. The Alesis QX25 - http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/QX25
