I've been exploring this synth. Great sounds. I finally RTFM...it does explain a couple of things that are not immediately apparent from the GUI. Going back to it and taking my time has been rewarding. The sounds may take some time to develop and small changes will produce surprising and pleasing results. Wait for it!

I did not yet figure out, how the different kinds of feedback work (due to a lack of time), but will try it on the weekend in more detail. The manual explains the theory good - but I could not hear the difference. Needs more testing.
Anyway: the manual is really good and the app is easy to understand. Great sounds so far.Latest Album (Sept. 2020): Tenth Region Of The Night

The first demo sounds like Frippertronics! I'm going to look this up for my iPad.
EDIT:
Found it, and the price is not out of line. I might just have to snag this one for my collection.Last edited by Sonic Bodhi; 02-15-2020, 11:09 AM.

Ha ha, you called it 'monokoke'..great stuff man! Is some of this reasonable to consider as 'generated' music?Originally posted by betadecay View PostAnd I forgot... this one was also made with monokoke (and some others too, but solely on my iPad):
EDIT:
I just bought this.. I guess I will discover it now...
Isn't there a library of user patches somewhere that can be imported online?
Also, where did you d/l the manual from? EDIT TWO: NM, I found the link for the manual..Last edited by Sonic Bodhi; 05-08-2020, 12:59 PM.

Nice typo!!! Perhaps the monococcus is related to the u-he bacillus, who knows.... Microbiological synths...Originally posted by Sonic Bodhi View Post

No, it is not "generative" - the sunrizer plays a "drone", i.e. a sound in hold mode, the cube plays a slow sequence, Mononoke is played manually, the only thing that could be somehow called generative is the Ripplemaler - you hit a note, and then is goes on forever. But not generative in the strict sense.

I recorded my first track using Mononoke and will be posting it soon. I also have Sunrizer synth (but it doesn't appear in said track)Originally posted by betadecay View Post
