I thought since all of us have different projects going on AND now that we have a developer in the mix, we should create a "What are you working on?" thread!!!

Right now I'm 2/3 the way done with a brand new untitled ambient album. Got a brand new track to put up in the next couple days and looking forward, I'm really excited about this new album release!!!

What are YOU working on right now?

As soon as I'm able to rest a little from working on Ambient Online I'll be working on my next album. It will be another one-track album in the 50-minute realm.

I actually started it, but I may scrap what I have so far, or at least restart it fresh and save what I have for something else. It just depends on what style (Ambient, of course) I want to work in.

I'm working on some oldschool dubtechno right now, not ambient related.

I have a new ElectroProg remix going up on SoundCloud tomorrow. It's not ambient, but has some nice pads :lol:. I'm remixing 11 tracks for an album release sometime next year. One of these tracks might be classified as ambient. I have a backlog of 13 further remixes dating back to 2010 to deal with in the next 6-9 months. I might be providing some layers for a techno project next year, depending upon who is asking. I need to practice guitar, drums...............and I'm baking some bread tomorrow, apparently.

I have a couple of bands that are mostly just me. I just finished up an ontol album last week, and will be focusing more on either aoVI (more structured, some with vocals) or elemental phantasix (usually longer, more improvisational/experimental and noise oriented).

Since jumping back into recording a year ago, after almost a decade of no output, I have about 60 or so unfinished pieces that need to either be finished or moved to "the closet"--an external hard drive for pieces that seem to be unworkable.

currently have an SQ8L patch going through two long reverbs with some slowly modulated filtering creating movement.

That's what we like to hear!!! I am often in between tracks or ideas...my advice? Layer it with something else and start building!!! :ohreally:

So I'm not alone then? These closets of unfinished musical tailspins actually exist somewhere else on the planet too? YAY!!! :party: I thought I was crazy...I haven't "opened" my closet in a long time but if you count every unfinished track...on every DAW I've ever used...:roll: Oh man. :lol:
