Some of my other favourite things to do is dabble in digital photography. It is true that a single photograph can say many things!

All of my images are being hosted using a free account on Imageshack right now.

I do not have a good camera right now, so most of my stuff has been done with my Iphone camera. It is truly amazing how good the quality has gotten with current cell phones! I still do want to save up and buy a decent digital camera though and eventually save up for a photoshop licence for my Macbook pro.

Here are just a few images that I have taken. Some of them have been taken with other cameras etc.

Ok this picture was taken a while ago. It is a picture of my old gear that I was using. The Fender guitar and Ampeq amp were both being loaned to me by a friend and the guitar itself has a bit of history. It was purchased by a studio producer from my friend while he was recording one of his albums, and it was this guitar that actually got played on a few famous albums since the producer worked with some big names. The red guitar was my first serious guitar purchase and has been since passed on to my younger brother who can now outplay me.

This photo was taken outside my old job. I have no idea why i took a picture of an alley, but I ended up taking this and saving it.

I was playing with a friends camera and testing out the macro setting on it while taking this picture of a extinguished outdoor firepit.

I snapped this while on my way home from a vacation. I was on a local ferry that was headed to the island I live on at the time of the photo.

Cat.. my cat and i love him dearly. We are both somewhat crazy which is great cause we get along quite well.

I made this using Photoshop back in the day for a fan poster. It turned out pretty well but I lost the original PSD file so I cannot get rid of the watermark in the lower bottom corner.

One of my favourite things to do is zoom in while aboard a moving vehicle and then snap a photo using a high shutter speed. You can get all sorts of neat photos.

Seismic1 that cat photo is awesome! How old is your cat? What kind?

I think every musician I know owns a cat unless they are allergic to them.

          That's not my cat :uhuh:

We owned a cat for almost 4 years when we lived in Africa, but towards the end of that time, bu when we moved back to the UK, we had to find another home for him. Since then, my wife has developed an allergy to cats so now I have..................fish  About 40 of them

They're not in a tank. We have a pond with 9 Koi and about 30 goldfish

Thanks bro!!!!! Believe it or not, these days all my photos come straight from my Galaxy S3. I touch them up a bit using Snapseed on the iPad but that's about it. When I'm on a photography adventure, I'll bust out our Nikon D3100 but it's pretty much bottom of the barrel as far as DSLR's go. I did buy a couple lenses for it though which makes it a waaaay better camera than it is. I have a 35mm f1.8 lens that I absolutely love.

I'm a self taught photographer, for sure. There are three aspects of photography which if you understand you can take some kick ass pictures. Aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. Learning how all three of those worked (as it applies to digital photography) changed the game for me!!! ;)

Self taught?? Incredible! Also that is impressive that you only use your Galaxy S3. I did do a bit of film school for a month back when I was 18 so I guess i have some understanding of cameras but I find that there is always so much to learn.

                      Good work !

By the way...the app I mentioned above "Snapseed" FINALLY (and I mean finally...it's been over a year since this has been announced) came to Android today!!! And best of all...both the Android and the iOS version (for iPhone users) are now FREE!!!!!!!!! Go get it and try it out!! It takes a minute to learn...but it's waaaay worth it! Here's a photo I took and edited in the new Snapseed this morning...Cheers!
