Wednesday 3:00pm - 6:00pm EST 21:00 - 00:00 Uhr Three 1hr segments, each progressively more mild then the last. Final hr ambient like.

As always, thanks Annode! I was completely unaware of Joe Frank, although his voice sounds familiar. I'm spinning "Dark Days" from the last program stream player, based on your advice. How'd you find this one? Anyway, all good so far!

Thanks for doing the homework, and keeping the flame alive. To be honest, the autumn/winter always feels like "the ambient time of year," when we turn to focus more on interiors and the music is easier to focus on.

        All the best!

Writing this as I listen to 'Into The Deep'.WEVL
Your welcome felix_50. Happy to know your listening and I'm not doing this just for me.
Here and there NPR Radio run the Joe Frank shows for awhile, then it's just gone. I yet to run across a station running them, but when I do I'll of coarse let everyone know.

Yeah, that Dark Days show was excellent I thought. I had a quick look at the playlist and notice the artists are not the usual bunch. I'll go back to that to listen again and investigate those artists. I noticed BASSO RADIO in general has a very particular mindset for genres. I will be checking out their other styles too.
Someone at AO posted something in 'Member Releases'. His link opened in SoundCloud. After it ended something he 'Liked' started playing.(deep space Helsinki) I had a look and it said it was from BASSO Radio FM. Since it was an FM broadcast station I had a look at their schedule. So...I looked at the genres of those shows who's name sounded as they might be ambient. That brought me to 'Dark Days'.
I noticed later I could have just opened the player and clicked onto the 'ambient' link...bringing up all shows using the word ambient, but I'm not that swift. haha Anyway, Dark Days was the only show besides maybe 'True Aether'(which did not play its show stream) that was all ambient style electronica.

That section of the world sure knows about long Dark Days and stark near silent winter soundscapes. I'll try to keep ontop of this show every other week.

Now we can listen to any 5hr show at will without needing to auto-record it. Three shows are available to date.

Because Finland just set their clock back 1 hr Oct.28 the Tuesday Oct.30 show from Helsinki 'Dark Days' started at 4:00pm EST and not at 3:00pm.
I'm sorry I didn't catch that until after the fact.
EST will be setting clocks back 1 hr on Nov.4, 2:00am. This will re-sync most if not all the times in my list.

              Thanks, and sorry about that.

                            Hi Shanna!

Thanks for all your efforts on the show-- I'm enjoying downloading them for autumn/winter stroll soundtracks!

Any chance some of the ones you posted could have the downloads refreshed (particularly the Kranky anniversary show)?

                            Either way, thanks for posting!

                              Hey Annode!

Just checking in to say hi, and salute your ever-continuing efforts. I'm listening to the Joe Frank stuff from earlier in the year (the links from then don't work, but there's stuff at his (memorial) blog. Nice trippy thoughtstreams. Still nothing like him I've ever found, but I see comparisons from time to time. Wish more was out there free, but I appreciate why that's not the case.

                              All the best to you!
